6 Step Recruiting Process

  1.  We use current relationships and referrals.  Our nurses value our relationship and refer their quality friends and peers.

5 Step Screening Process

  1. Employment application, skills checklists, and telephone pre-screening sessions including experience level, education level, interest, availability.
  2. Document Reviews (License, CPR, I-9, Criminal background check, Drug screening, physical exam, TB testing, and vaccines, two professional references).
  3. Testing of Specialty areas and JCAHO Competencies.
  4. Character evaluation of maturity, articulacy, attitude, practical experience, a team commitment, supervision needs and preferred work environments
  5. Review standard work practices: Drug and Alcohol free Workplace, OSHA, Universal Precautions, confidentiality statement, HIPPA, cancellation policy, dress code, professional development, unethical practice, and unsafe practice.

Our Technology

1. Computer Systems

Our systems are fully integrated, web enabled operating systems geared specifically to the ISS Healthcare staffing environment and Healthcare recruiting business. Our systems are remotely hosted for redundancy, reliability and anywhere accessibility.  The system puts the following types of questions at our finger tips:

  • Is she/he qualified to work in a hospital,state,or service area?
  • Are her/his credentials valid and up to date?
  • Has she/he worked at this hospital before and wants to work there again?
  • Was the hospital satisfied/dissatisfied with her/his work?
  • Is she/he available on these specific shifts?

Our system allows us to customize the requirements of a contract for each client and healthcare provider.  We can customize the billing statements to your needs.  The system constantly tracks employee compliance with OSHA and JCAHO requirements.  We can provide both the clients and employee with instant accessibility to their schedules, availability, payroll information and JCAHO documents
