What are the basic requirements to become an ISS therapits? 18 months current experience, excellent skills, strong references, positive attitude, and meet USCIS standards.

What is the typical duration of a long term contract assignment?  3 years.

Can I add my spouse or dependents to my group health insurance plan?  Yes.  You complete the enrollment forms and pay the additional monthly premium.

Is there a fee for Innovative Staffing Solutions' recruitment, immigration, licensure, and placement services?  No! Never!

What is a Visa Screen Certificate?  The Visa Screen Certificate is a requirement of the USCIS.  It is a certification of your education, professional license, and a passing grade on your TOEFL.  For PTs it is issued by FSBPT and for OTs by NBCOT.  ISS pays all fees related to the Visa Screen Certificate.  We will walk you through this application process. 

Do you provide any assistance in training for TOEFLiBT?  YES.  We provide a training book, CDs, and classes.  Remember we will always work with you to move through the immigration and state licensing processes.  Please realize the TOEFTiBT is a very difficult exam. Only 10% pass. It requires 2-3 hours a night of prep work for most people to have a chance at passing. ISS pays all fees related to the review materials, CDs, Course, and exam.

Who pays for the VISA process?  ISS pays all costs associated with the Visa processing.  We walk you through this process with our lawyers.

Who pays for the state licensure?  ISS pays all costs associated with acquiring a state license.  We walk you through this licensure process.

What is a passing score on the TOEFL iBT?   89 total.  Speaking must be 26 or above.

How long does this process take?  The immigration process can take between 7  and 18 months. 

Some of my friends have come to the USA through other companies only to find there is no job available.  Will I have a job when I arrive in the USA?  Absolutely.  In the ISS process, you are interviewing for work in a specific locations with specific companies.  These are long term assignments that allow you to adjust to an American life style.

How much will I be paid? Rates vary depending on what part of the county you would be working.  Some cities are much more expensive to live in and thus have a higher pay rate.   You will be paid at the prevailing wage rate or higher plus will receive a comprehensive benefits package.

Will I need a Social Security Number? Yes.  You will need to get a Social Security Number after you arrive in the United States.  We will assist you through this process.

Who will pay for my airline ticket to the United States?  ISS will cover this expense.

Will I know where I am going to work before I come to the United States? Yes.  The first step of our process is you interviewing with potential health care facilities.  You will choose each other before continuing with the immigration process.  ISS and the facility are both committing to your job offer. 

How long is my contract?   As long as you perform you job in a satisfactory manor, the job is guaranteed for three years.  In most cases your employer will request you to stay with them for an open ended period of time beyond the three year term.

How long does the process take?  An H1B or EB2 application process usually takes between 8 and 24 months.  This includes Visa screen, TOEFL, immigration, and state licensure.  It is important for you to be expeditious at getting your forms, studying and testing completed.  You are never alone in this process.  We work with you all the way through the process.
